The Tithing Desk

Roll top desk that belonged to Curtis Wilson Rogers. This was his work desk where he filled out his reports for the Union Pacific railroad, and faithfully wrote out his monthly tithing checks. A cherished piece of family history. Photo taken in the Grand Junction CO home of Raedelle Hussey Mundy, daughter of Leone Rogers Hussey. 2015.

"When Dad made out his reports at the end of each month, if it was at all possible, we left the house in order for him to have complete silence as there couldn't be any mistakes in his work. He could not concentrate unless all was quiet."
R Max Rogers, Rehan Rogers Richins Miller and Leone Rogers Hussey memories
